Types Of Services In Housekeeping Department.

"Good Housekeeping is invisible service in that an Expert eyes or guest can really notice if our team fails to deliver the expected standard of cleanliness. Every Hotels sold Hundred of rooms in a month to the Guest but its a housekeeping efficiency that they will not leave any evidence of previous stayed Guest and that the every rooms clean properly corner to corner & Top to bottom.Hence, Such Cleaning activities can be carried out in 3 Major Services & 1 Personalized Service".


1) Morning Service/ Regular Service/ Daily Service:- 

 On a daily Basis Housekeeping carried out such service in every guest room and following cleaning activities carried out during this service.

  • Freshnup the room by opening door for a while- this will help with ventilation.
  • Soiled Linen Stripping( Room + Bathroom)
  • Remove Garbage.
  • Washed used Cups & Glasses.
  • Bed Making with fresh set of Linens.
  • Cleaning of bathrooms, replacement of supplies, amenities & Towels.
  • Dusting.
  • Vacuuming.
  • Floor Mopping.
  • Close windows and Door.


2) Second Service( Its on Request Service i.e Guest Call up for service after Morning service and Turn down service Has done):-

If Guest requesting for Service post to morning service or post to turn-down service. such service is refer as  Second Service. For an example- After morning service guest has used the room and mistakenly his or her son or daughter split any kind of liquid over the bed and guest call up the Housekeeping to change bed linen one more time.

3) Turn Down Service/ Evening Service/ Freshnup Service/ Every night josefin service:-

We are preparing the guest room as per sleeping mode and following activities can be carried out during this service:-
  • Removing of Garbage.
  • Removing of Bed Runner/ Bed Spread or Bed Through and cushion from the bed and nicely kept in Wardrobe.
  • Bed Freshness:- Pillow should be flat position, Bed fold should be in 90 Degree.According to the Hotel standards we can keep LDP Bags( Laundry- Dry cleaning- pressing) over the bed along with Breakfast knob card. Some hotels can also keeping Turn down Chocolates.
  • Spread Foot mat next to bed to keep sleepers above them( As per the PAX)
  • Keep Drinking water bottle & Drinking Glass along with Coaster on the bed side table.
  • Replace consumed supplies and freshnup the bathroom.
  • keep W.C Lid open.
  • Spread bathmat near the W.C or shower area( as per the hotel standard.
  • Close the Heavy Curtain and sheer curtain properly.
  • Close the Door.
   
     

Personalized Service:

This service is known as Mom care service. In this service we are arranging Guest belongings in a very proper manner either its guest sleepers, Guest clothes or any other Guest belongings in washbasin. This service Gives 'WOW' experience to the Guest.
