Today i am back with some basic questions and their Answer which will be very helpful for my Housekeeping family members associate level.

Question:- 1) Why did you choose Housekeeping as a career?
Answer:-1) I am well organised. I have exceptional cleaning skills. I believe that i can make guest satisfaction with my caring attitude. My small effort can make guest day very special.
Question:- 2) What is the Job Responsibility of a Housekeeping Associate?
Answer:-2) The major job responsibility are as follows:
- Keep the Guest 100% satisfaction by keeping hotels clean and Tidy at all times.
- Taking Care of Public areas.
- Follow the instruction given by Supervisor or manager.
- Report any unusual things to the management.
- Making sure that i am not misusing resources provided by Management i.e. Linen, chemicals, housekeeping Tools.
Always wear smile and proper Eye contact. |
Question:-3) What is the difference between Supplies and Amenity?
Answer:-3) Supplies are known as all the usable items such as toiletries etc.
Amenity are known as all the consumable items such as Tea Coffee, Drinking water etc.
Question:- 4) How many guest rooms you are making in a single shift?
Answer:-4) Sir i can make 15-16 rooms in a single shift.
Question:-5) What is the use of R2? or may be asked for any othjer chemical?
Answer:-5) Sir, R2 is known as Hygiene Hard Surface disinfection we can use it for multi surface such as for floor scrubbing, Telephone disinfection, Mirror Cleaning, Floor mopping etc.
Question:-6) What is the best Air conditioner temperature in guest room for Good Sleep?
Answer:-6) Sir, we are keeping at 22 degree celcious.
Question:- 7) What all the toiletries you are placing in your last organisation?
Answer:- Sir, we are placing toiletries such as Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, Body Lotion, Loofah, Comb, Dental Kit, Shaving Kit, Toilet roll, Tissue box,For your care kit.
Question:-8) What do you do if you get any Lost & Found from departure Room?
Answer:- Sir, if i get lost & Found in my shift so first up all i will check with front office that guest has checked out or not. if guest is still at front desk so i will handed over to Guest and same thing i will inform to my floor supervisor and mention in my Checklist.
If Guest has checked out from the Hotel premises so firstly i will inform to my supervisor, desk attendant and i will deposit the same items at my housekeeping control desk and fill the Lost & Found slip.
Question:-9) Why do we fill occupancy report?
Answer:-9) Sir, we do fill occupancy report for the following reason,
- To know the actual status of Guest room.
- To help in saving the Hotel revenue.
